Chrisean Rose is a multi-dimensional West Indian director and photographer based in Atlanta + Los Angeles. Growing up on the shores of the Exumas; a small cluster of islands in the Bahamas, Chrisean started his creative journey as a painter before discovering his love for photography and film.
His foundation as a painter and culturally rich background merges to create a unique point of view, rooted in Bahamian heritage, which lies at the heart of his storytelling. This makes his artistry profoundly personal, yet universally resonating to his clients which includes Coach, Good American, Dior, Vogue, Free People, Free Assembly, Nike, V Magazine, Rolling Stone, Sprite, Wall Street Journal, Glamour to name a few.
A first-generation college graduate; Chrisean earned a Degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. For a decade, he built a successful career as a financial analyst before pivoting to become a full-time artist and launching Chrisean Rose Studios, a creative production house located in Atlanta.
Of all things Chrisean has accomplished, he cites his greatest accolade as being a girl-dad. Fatherhood is his most treasured role, and he shares his love for art with his daughter who has been coming to set with him since she was one week old. Anyone who knows him would say he is a dad first and an artist second.
