Photographer Joshua Kissi captured Quinta Brunson, the creator of Abbott Elementary, as she returned to work after a writer's strike. Quinta, one of Glamour's Women of the Year, reflects on her journey from viral video creator to a star with strong ties to her hometown, Philly. Her hit show Abbott Elementary has earned her acclaim and a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. TV to develop new series. In an interview with Kristen Welker, she discusses her background, creative process, and future plans, possibly including a move to London.
