Hackney Wick is a now a byword for regeneration and gentrification. Sebastian Nevols shot this area just before and after the 2012 Summer Olympics, the motivation behind much of the development.
The bagel factory is now The Bagel Factory — a ‘collection of warehouse-style apartments’. The area around White Post Lane (where the caravan is) was razed to the ground and awaits a similar housing complex. The Lord Napier is still there, just about.
