Josh Hartnett stars in The Fear Index, an adaptation of Robert Harris' financial thriller. The plot follows Dr. Alex Hoffman, the extremely wealthy creator behind a machine which uses algorithms to detect fear and manipulate the economic market accordingly, subsequently giving billionaires the chance to cash in on disaster.
